Industry organizations
- Universal Postal Union (UPU) - Association of the countries that signed the UPU-convention and therewith agreed on common standards for international mail traffic
- International Post Corporation (IPC) - The International Post Corporation is dedicated to improving service quality, promoting cooperation and interoperability, and providing informed intelligence about the postal and related markets
- PostEurop - PostEurop is the association which represents the interests of 48 European public postal operators
- International Air Transport Association (IATA) - The IATA represents, leads and serves the airline industry. Its members comprise all major passenger and cargo airlines
- Cargo 2000 - IATA industry initiative aiming at implementing a new quality management system for the worldwide air cargo industry
- Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) - DHL Freight has had a long-term commitment to security in transporting high-value goods through its membership in the Transported Asset Protection Association
- Conference of Asia Pacific Express Carriers (CAPEC) - Established in 1996 to represent the interests in Asia of the world’s leading integrated express delivery services companies
- Global Express Association (GEA) - The GEA represents the international express delivery companies
- The European Express Association - represents express delivery companies and associations, both large and small, in Europe
- Association of European Airlines (AEA) - The Association of European Airlines brings together 35 major airlines
- Alliance for European Logistics (AEL) - The Alliance for European Logistics is an industry coalition, bringing together companies that both provide and use logistics services in Europe.
- European Services Forum (ESF) - A network of representatives from the European services sector committed to actively promoting the liberalisation of international trade in services.
- European-American Business Council (EABC) - The European-American Business Council is committed to fortifying EU-US economic investment, innovation, regulatory integration and Trans-Atlantic competitiveness.

- United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) - Deutsche Post DHL is a signatory to the UNGC "Caring for Climate" statement
- UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) - Our strategic partner for the work provided by the DHL Disaster Response Teams

- Private Sector Road Safety Collaboration (PSRSC) - The aim of the PSRSC is to promote and strengthen international collaboration among private sector companies in the area of road safety to reduce road traffic injuries and deaths among their staff, the fleets they contract and the communities with which they operate
