DHL Innovation Award 2009
Innovative ideas, sustainable and efficient logistics concepts – these are the focal points of the DHL Innovation Award. For the second time since 2008, the DHL Innovation Center will conduct a competition under the motto of “Growing Ideas” to honor excellent, forward-looking logistics solutions presented by employees, customers and, especially, junior scientists/ entrepreneurs.

As an international logistics group with over 500,000 employees, Deutsche Post DHL actively promotes innovative applications and technologies in the logistics sector. The DHL Innovation Center plays a key role in this effort.
Teamed with its partners, the DHL Innovation Center works on innovative ideas and technologies to develop market-ready solutions. The DHL Innovation Award competition conducted under the motto of "Growing Ideas" annually honors creativity and entrepreneurial thinking that move the logistics sector forward.
We are looking forward to receiving your innovative ideas and solutions.

Award
The submissions to the competition will be judged by a respected jury composed of decision makers from the business, scientific and political fields. The winner of the DHL Innovation Award 2009 will be honored on December 1, 2009 at the DHL Innovation Center in Troisdorf.
The most innovative junior scientist/entrepreneur will also receive an attractive monetary prize to complement the award.

Participation in the DHL Innovation Award
For the DHL Innovation Award, we are looking for ambitious young scientists and entrepreneurs. As a master’s or PhD candidate, a research assistant or an entrepreneur, you should have intensely worked on a logistics-related academic research project or business plan.
