FAQ – Applying online
Here you will find the most important answers regarding online applications at Deutsche Post DHL. You also are welcome to send us personal inquiries. Please use the contact form for this purpose.
Applying online
You have probably used the wrong portal. There are two different portals where you can log in: Apprenticeships and Job Center. For Job Center openings, you can register by creating a user profile.
For apprenticeships, please register by clicking the button "My career" on the upper right-hand side of the apprenticeship openings page.
This problem report describes a temporary problem with the system that is being corrected as quickly as possible. Please try again to upload attachments.
All online applications are complete when we receive them. You can use your profile to check on when you sent what application to us. To do this, please log in to our Job Center with your personal access data.
Log in to our Job Center using your personal access data and check on the > Welcome page under > My profile whether the clearance for the candidate pool is activated. If not, click on > Change status. Or have your profile cleared in the final step of your registration and choose the preferred placement.
Given the large number of applications we receive, we are forced to limit the number of optional attachments for technical reasons. Aside from your application photo, choose the four documents that you consider most important and insightful to support your application.
For technical reasons, each attachment that you upload may amount to no more than 2 MB.
You can use the job agent to create a personal search profile. You can create up to five job agents or five different search profiles in this way. If a job that matches your search profile is advertised, you will be informed automatically by e-mail. If you create an online applicant profile and an online application, you will be automatically asked to create a job agent.
We are currently switching our job openings to the online application system. This is why it is not yet possible to apply online for a number of job openings. Please read the relevant job advertisements to find out how to apply for these jobs (usually in writing, by telephone or by e-mail).
No matter whether you send us an unsolicited application or respond to a job advertisement: We always recommend that you use our online application process. This does not create any advantages or disadvantages for you. But we will digitize all written applications and e-mail applications, and cannot always decide in the process which aspects are of particular importance to you. To ensure that you can emphasize the aspects you consider most relevant, we recommend that you use our online application form.
Yes. The cookies make it easier for you to enter and administer your personal data. We assure you that we will not collect any data via the cookies without your explicit approval and that we adhere to the German Data Protection Act (BDSG).
We treat all online applications as normal applications as stipulated by the German Data Protection Act (BDSG). That means that your personal data will be stored in our application management system exclusively for the purpose of the application and only for the duration of the relevant job advertisement. After that date, your data will be available to the application management system for another 18 months in an applicants' history. You can withdraw your application or interest profiles at any time. In addition, you will receive an e-mail six months after your last login informing you that your data will be deleted unless you object to this deletion by logging into the system again.
