Health management
Concerns about the health and safety of the workforce are a central challenge facing a global logistics company. After all, people who feel healthy are more innovative and creative and make a stronger contribution to the company’s success.
For this reason, promoting the good health of our employees is anchored in our "Code of Conduct" and our "Corporate Health Policy".
Frank Clever, Physiotherapist DPDHL
Well-beeing for success
"We regard the promotion of our employees' health as the basis for everybody's individual well-beeing and the success of our group – worldwide, across all borders."
Deutsche Post DHL has received many awards in the past for its health management work.
For the second time in a row the company has received the Corporate Health Award 2011 in the category of traffic/logistics (the award is a joint initiative by the Handelsblatt, EuPD Research and TÜV SÜD Life Service) and the German Health Award for Companies.
The objective of our health management is to improve health and a feeling of well-being on the job – by promoting active employee participation, strengthening personal skills and continuously optimizing the work organization. For this reason, management programs are combined with employee initiatives and external networks.
