Arriving with public transportation

If arriving with Deutsche Bahn long-distance trains, take the local "S-Bahn" tram lines 6, 11, 12, 13 or local trains one station to the "Köln-Messe/Deutz" train station. From there you can reach the Kölnarena by foot in approx. 5-10 minutes. The bus/tram stations "Bf Deutz/Messe," "Bf Köln-Deutz/Kölnarena" and "Deutz-Kalker-Bad" are located in the immediate vicinity of the Kölnarena and are served by the tram lines 1, 3, 4 and 9 as well as the bus lines 150, 153 and 156. The metro lines 150 and 156 operate only in Köln-Deutz.

Arriving by car

The Kölnarena is in the middle of the Köln-Deutz district and is easy to reach from all highways in the greater Cologne area. First follow the signs to "Koelnmesse" and then those to "Kölnarena". This will take you to the parking garage Kölnarena P1. It is advisable to approach from the highway junction "Autobahnkreuz Gremberg" (autobahns A4/A559). From this junction, follow the signs in the direction of Köln-Deutz (eastern approach road to the city). Please note that the Kölnarena is situated in Cologne's recently established low-emission zone. Should you choose a route other than the signposted route to the venue, make sure your car is equipped with a so-called 'fine-particles sticker'.

Arriving by plane

From the Cologne/Bonn airport the "S-Bahn" tram line S 13 in the direction of Köln Hansaring/Horrem runs every 20 minutes as well as the regional train RE 8 in the direction of Mönchengladbach for the "Köln-Messe/Deutz" station. The trip takes approx. 12 minutes. A taxi ride to the Kölnarena takes some 25 minutes and costs approx. € 25.
