Bonn, 09/06/2006, 11:30 AM CEST
"We are delighted with this award, which confirms our excellent communication with our shareholders. An accurate and consistent information policy is an important condition for strengthening the trust of investors in Deutsche Post World Net, which ultimately benefits all shareholders, employees and customers," commented Klaus Zumwinkel, the corporation's CEO and Chairman, at the award ceremony on September 5, 2006 in Frankfurt.
The four expert assessor teams and the independent jury considered that a key factor in its top ranking was the outstandingly high efficiency of the Deutsche Post report. "The annual report is striking for its transparency, and its brevity," adds manager magazin.
manager magazin has been examining the annual reports of Germany's and Europe's major public companies listed on the Dax, M-Dax, S-Dax, Tec-Dax and the European stock market segment Stoxx 50 since 1995. The manager magazin competition is the most comprehensive comparison in Germany, and one of the largest worldwide.
Deutsche Post already received the award "World's Best IR WebsiteTM" from the leading consultancy firm IR Web Report in May 2006, as the best in the industry. The online reporting pages were assessed in terms of depth of information, up-to-dateness, transparency, service quality and user friendliness.
IR Web Report, located in Toronto, was formed in 2000, and is an independent benchmark service for online investor relations evaluation. IR Web Report assesses more than 500 international companies every year.
