DHL's Marketing and Sales now with the TÜV Seal
TÜV certifies the quality management system of DHL Express Vertriebs GmbH
Bonn, 02/17/2006, 10:30 AM CETThe PRISMA quality management system of DHL Express Vertriebs GmbH, where all marketing and sales activities of DHL Express Deutschland are consolidated, has been certified by TÜV Saarland according to the international DIN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Work processes are optimized by PRISMA (Process Improvement Sales and Marketing) and possible sources of error are eliminated early. It is primarily the customers who benefit, because of the shortened processing times.
Claude R. Béglé, Chairman of the Divisional Board for DHL Express Deutschland and Managing Director of DHL Express Central Europe, was presented with the certificate from TÜV Saarland this week in Bonn. "The customer is number one to us. The customer must be convinced of the quality of our services. That starts with first contact and continues through delivery of the shipment on into the after-sales area," said the Chairman of the German division about the significance of the distinction. "With PRISMA, we have created another instrument that ensures and continually improves the quality of our services for a long time. We are pleased that this is being confirmed to our customers through the TÜV certification from a competent center."
The significant advantage of the quality management system is that it is an Intranet-based solution. This means that the employees have direct access to the current documents at any time. This optimizes workplace organization and saves time in order processing. Around 1,000 DHL employees received training for it in recent months.
