DHL again improves express service to USA

Starting this month, DHL Express is offering German customers extended service hours for items going to the USA. On the one hand, a new daily air route from Frankfurt am Main to Wilmington/USA is now giving customers living in the Rhine/Main region and Southern Germany up to two more hours to have their items picked up.

On the other hand, DHL Express has also changed the flight routing of German domestic flights so that items from Northern, Eastern and Southern Germany will be handled by the DHL hub in Leipzig/Halle in the future. At the same time, the number of flights from Leipzig/Halle to Wilmington will be raised to five per week.

The introduction of the US Next Day Service last year already significantly reduced DHL's transit times between Europe and North America. Items picked up by the afternoon in conurbations in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy can be delivered by the next day to all major business addresses in the USA.
