Language

The 2011 Annual Report is available in two languages. To switch between the German and English pages, click on the ‘Deutsch’ or ‘English’ icons in the service menu at the top of the screen. This function is available on every page.

Search

The search field in the service menu at the top of the screen allows you to use the publication’s internal search engine. You only have to enter the term you are looking for in the search field. The hits shown will be listed in descending order according to relevance and the term entered will be highlighted. Additionally, you can use a search-or-jump function that is linked to the search field. This function provides you with a prepared list of terms that can be activated by clicking the search field. The terms are linked directly to the relevant document pages. JavaScript is required for this function.

Audited audited

The icon ‘audited’ identifies the sections of the annual report audited by the auditors. Clicking on the icon takes you to the independent auditor’s report.

Text size Text sizeText sizeText size

The text size can be changed. At the top of every content page there are three A symbols of various size to enlarge, reduce and reset the text size. JavaScript is required for this function.

Print page Print page

Every page has a print function. Clicking on the print icon opens a separate browser window containing a preview of the page for printing (without navigation icons and other browser components). You can now print out the page with or without images. Confirm your selection by clicking on the print icon in the new browser window.

Shopping basket Shopping basket

Using the Shopping basket function you can compile the contents of the online publications as you wish. You can use the basket to collect contents. After you have confirmed your selection, a PDF document is generated that you can save on to your computer. JavaScript is required for this function.

Downloads

The download area of online publications can be accessed by clicking on this function in the service menu to the right of the screen. Here you can download PDF versions of the entire publication, individual chapters and single pages. You need Acrobat Reader to be able to use the PDF files. The document’s most important tables are also available as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The figures in Excel are shown according to your computer’s country settings.

Here you can add the different files into a ZIP archive and then download it to retrieve the individual files. Click on ‘show cart’ to see an overview of your selected files. To remove files from the list, click on ‘Delete’. To create the final ZIP file, click on ‘Download ZIP file’. To open ZIP archives you need an extraction utility that supports the ZIP format. You may use the software 7ZIP which you can download for free from the producer’s website.

You can also download PNG and TIFF versions of selected graphics as a ZIP file. If JavaScript is deactivated, files available for downloading are not separated into documents, tables and graphics but are displayed below each other in a list. Clicking on one of the four terms (Documents | Tables | Images | Graphics) takes you directly to the corresponding part of the list.
